Our editorial mission is to provide deep analysis, verified data and actionable insights on fintech, mobile banking, remittances, microcredit and market opportunities in Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau and Lusophone diaspora corridors.
2. Sources and Fact-Checking
All published content is based on authoritative and verifiable sources:
- Primary sources: Official government publications (BNA, Banco de Moçambique, BCEAO), international organisations (World Bank, IMF, UN, African Development Bank), and regulatory reports.
- Market data: Global Findex (World Bank), GSMA Intelligence, DataReportal, FinScope surveys, Remittance Prices Worldwide.
- Academic research: Peer-reviewed studies from recognised universities and research centres.
- Industry sources: Reports from McKinsey, Deloitte, PwC, S&P Global and other leading consultancies.
We apply a multi-source verification process: each fact, statistic or data point cited is verified against at least two independent sources before publication.
3. Update Frequency
Market data is updated when new official reports are published (typically quarterly or annually). Thematic analyses are reviewed quarterly. Service comparisons are verified monthly. Regulatory data is updated immediately when new regulations are announced.
4. Correction Policy
If we identify a factual error after publication, we commit to: correcting the error as quickly as possible (target: 24 hours for significant factual errors), adding a dated correction note to the affected article, and notifying readers of material corrections. The founder and Editor-in-Chief is a graduate of Imperial College London (MBA).
